You're absolutely right: more and more people (including the famous ones you cite) are seeing that these seeming "coincidences" are often clues to far more interesting connections and relationships.

I think the turning point was when scientists found there really is a definite beginning to the Universe, leading to the big question: "What came first? The chicken or the egg?"
