Thanks for reading and commenting. I wasn't writing about the issues you cite (often repeated over the 50 years). We've all heard that: Got it.

I wanted to write about some other choices women have, something we haven't talked much about over those past 50 years.

I don't know if you've ever been involved with an abortion but at my age, I know and love many people who have. The choice of whether to abort has always been there (and my mother reminds me women also had the choice to go to over states well before Roe). The issue not written about much is "how do all people involved with that decision feel 10, 20 and 30 years later?" Often, all involved at some point wonder "what if I'd made the other choice?"

Now, IF someone in their life (a father, a mother, a friend) had made the offer Jim Harbaugh makes to his family and friends, they would indeed know they had another choice. I presume by favoring choice you are OK with women considering other choices. Thanks again.
