Shannon: I felt for you when you wrote about it being hard for evangelicals to talk about this (because I know a great Christian author who wrote a LOT about the theology of the body). I recommend starting with his first book, “Love and Responsibility’’ by Karol Wojtyla. One of his main arguments: men and women resent feeling “used’’ (which unleashes all sorts of problems) and if the focus is love, it can be beautiful.
