Nice essay, Kelly. The Silent Generation (1925-1945) set the record for marriage: marrying (and divorcing, then remarrying and marrying again). So members of that generation, like Elizabeth Taylor and Larry King, wound up marrying eight times each.

The scourge of divorce (especially after multiple generations of divorce) unfortunately taught young people to avoid, delay, or never marry. Thank you for spreading the message about what marriage is meant to be.
