Love the "Writer Bullies" analogy (that's good writing). I've found the "real writers" on Medium are pretty supportive. There definitely ARE bullies out there (great phrase!) who actually throw out attacks without even bothering to really read the articles. But you keep looking in the front windshield and don't them get to you.
