I'm so sorry for your painful experiences Jenny. Often, we think and hope and pray the Church will be a refuge from the sins of the world -- and it usually is. But sadly, the Church is also a hospital for sinners and sin is a sickness that messes with everyone in some way. So we pray: Heavenly Father: Thank you for the gift of your beloved daughter Jenny. Help her and guide her, keeping her safe through the storm. Fill her with the power and wisdom and might of the Spirit through the unity of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
