If we know religion means a binding relationship and God wants to marry us, we better see the value of prayer.
My wife and I have a pretty good idea of what kinds of cereal we like, so we could probably order easily on the other's behalf. But constant loving communication (even asking whether to get Frosted Flakes or Captain Crunch this time) is still better for a relationship than acting without input from the other. So yes, when I'm looking at a restaurant's menu, I ask the Spirit which one I should pick. I highly recommend The Way of the Pilgrim on this topic of praying without ceasing. Bless you, brother, and all that you do.
