I was in Harrisburg (the state capital of Pennsylvania) when we still had The Patriot (morning edition), The Evening News (afternoon) and the Sunday Patriot-News and yes, I was part of the Newspaper Guild do we had very generous salaries then. All of that is gone now. But the early 1990s was still the glory days before they foolishly decided that some dial-in phone service was better than the Internet.
