I read a beautiful book about saints that said the people we are named for actually choose us from Heaven, influencing our parents to pick those names because their names, like ours, influence our own life's identity and mission.

So by that belief, St. Barbara got your parents to name you Barbara, knowing you would continue to do her work here on earth, and you seem to be doing a great job carrying on her legacy! Great job, Barbara!
