Heavenly Father:

Thank you for the gift of Barbara and this beautiful story of a good, loving family. This essay reminds us how life can seem endless, to continue on and on in the same waay with no change or few changes until BOOM, everything changes at once. And yet, it doesn't change as much as we think because You are still there for us, giving us that foundation, that Way to live, the Father watching over Your children, reminding us we are all part of Your Story, that death is a door to another room and we are loved on both sides of that door. We are so grateful for this life and the stories You make us a part of through the unity of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
