Great job Jenny. A helpful parable: Picture ourselves as refrigerators:

Plugging us in makes us work the way we were designed to work, allowing us to do our job (protecting the food inside).

Pull out the plug and it won't immediately have an effect on the food inside. We may even think "oh, who needs to be plugged in. It's noisy."

But it definitely does impact the refrigerator and everything in it over time.
