Expectation is a form of entitlement!

Expectation as a form of entitlement. When juxtaposed against intention or anticipation, expectation is inferior because it is passive, while intention is active and drives anticipation. In this context, expectation means someone owes you something. When you passively wait for something to come to you, you will likely be in for a long wait. Entitlement is not a promise it can be taken away at any time, destroying your expectations. Simply put, entitlement is an unrealistic expectation.
