Congresswoman Slotkin just cast the most significant vote of her career but she didn’t mention it in any of her communications to constituents today.

Congress is deeply divided along party lines but her main communications to constituents (emails and her website) says they unanimously support her unopposed healthcare bill. A Halloween Trick or Treat?

Rather than address her own historic vote, she changed the subject, telling constituents about a bill that was so uncontroversial it passed unanimously?

Voters have been angry about her support for an impeachment inquiry.

Slotkin’s 8th District is one of roughly 50 “swing” districts in the United States where both parties have a fighting chance though voters here have favored Republican representatives for most of the 21st century.

Trump District. It’s also one of 30 districts “majority Trump’’ districts where Democrats hold House seats.
