From impossible to inevitable? Three new films about cultural warriors, “Current Wars, “The Divine Plan” and “Ford vs. Ferrari” tell the stories of fighters doing something previously considered impossible:

1. Edison and Westinghouse electrifying the nation starting in the 1880s and 90s.

2. Ronald Reagan and St. John Paul the Great, each being shot six weeks apart, and rising again to free a billion slaves and reshape the global landscape exactly 100 years later.

3.The third story seems just as improbable a half century after it occurred: humble everyday Ford beating stunning Ferrari at LeMans after six years of defeats?
