Actually, Christianity talks about a system built around a FAMILY -- not a dictatorship. If God were a dictator, Adam and Eve wouldn't have the option to ignore God, who constantly gives us choices: our way or his way.

God's great gamble was that we would choose love (for he is love itself) but for us to truly love, we have to choose him and so we get the choice of everything God offers (love, truth, etc) or its opposite. His way or our way.

Dictators don't give you a choice: you follow the rules or you disappear. Jesus didn't dictate: He constantly prayed to his father. A dictator is one person: we have a Father, Son and Holy Spirit (not one dictator but a family relationship).

This is why the Bible talks about FATHERS (not dictators), Sons, Mothers, Brothers, sisters. There are indeed religions that see God as master and people as slaves but that is NOT what Christianity is all about. Baptism makes you a child of God.
